PADIUM Cardiff

ORCA Studios were appointed to design the second destination for Padium, a premium padel club redefining the standard for sport and leisure in Britain.

Working closely with the client, we drew on the lessons of our flagship London project to raise the bar across design, materiality, and facilities — balancing the client's ambitions with a considered approach to how the space will be used.

The new club is home to eight indoor courts, a pro shop, co-working space, recovery area, and members lounge bar area; all set across the ground floor. The mezzanine level builds on this with premium changing facilities, a recovery suite featuring ice baths, and a sauna with panoramic views overlooking the courts below.

Throughout, the design focus remained constant — to create a destination where members can play, recover and socialise. A space designed not just for sport, but for the community that grows around it.
